Me Time Tag

Hello everyone!

Today I am going to be doing the me time tag as I do love having some me time. Dealing with stress of everyday life can get a bit much so to get the occasional day or afternoon off is an absolute treat.

So I'm going to be answering 10 questions about what I like to do when I'm having some 'me time'.

1. What do you like to watch or read during me-time?

Well my favourite TV show I'm obsessed with at the moment is The Vampire Diaries but as that is only one episode a week (boo!) I've recently really got into Jamie McGuire book's as I'm currently reading the 'Beautiful' series and so far its amazing, I literally cannot put the book down.

2. What do you wear during me-time?

Definitely some comfy clothes so must likely some Pyjamas I can slouch in and most definitely some fluffy socks as I hate having cold feet!

3. What are your favourite me-time beauty products?

Face masks and scrubs are my absolute favourite. Helps battle spots and leaves your face feeling smooth and smelling divine, what's not to love?

4. Current favourite nail polish?

At this current moment in time I'm in love with Rimmel London's Space Dust textured nail polish in 006 Total Eclipse.

5. What do you eat or drink during me-time?

For drink its most likely a cup of tea in my adorable owl mug. My favourite meal of the day is breakfast  as I love choosing between different breakfast foods however I rarely have time to dish up a pretty breakfast, so on my me days I definitely make sure I have time to have something super yummy.

(If I was feeling particularly unhealthy on a me day then I'll most likely be eating pizza or Galaxy minstrels.)

6. Current favourite candle?

Even though its a more Autumnal scent I still love my Yankee candle in cranberry zest.

7. Do you ever have outdoor me-time?

Sometimes I do enjoy going out on walks with my earphones in just to get some fresh air and some alone time out of the house.

8. Would you ever go and watch a film alone?

Personally no, I very much enjoy the experience of going to the cinema however its something I enjoy with company. I think I'd feel a bit awkward and out of place going on my own, Not that there's anything wrong with going alone but that's just not for me personally.

9. Favourite online shop?

My favourite online store is ASOS. They have such wonderful clothes with great deals, free delivery and of course student discount yay!

10. Anything to add? What else do you do during me-time?

I really do enjoy taking long baths or showers as they give me lots of thinking time. I also really really REALLY love eating big bowls of mint chip ice cream mmm.

So that is all the questions!

I'm not going to personally tag any one but feel free to do this tag if it tickles your fancy!

Until next time have a wonderful day!

The shorter do

(January 2015)

So since around November I've slowly been having regular trims cutting off all those horrible split ends, and since I've been having these I've gradually gone shorter and shorter. It wasn't orginally my plan to go too much shorter, however those dead ends had to go and I had to kiss goodbye my wonderful long blonde locks.

(October 2014.)

But at this current moment in time I am actually like the shorter hair despite how much I miss the longer hair. It is a whole lot more quicker now to do to my hair which I suppose is a positive when having to get ready in a rush. However I am intending to grow my hair back out again however I am getting into proper hair care routines by using different products including more hair masks! I'm also only using heat to the bare minimum, and if I have to use heat I make sure I use plenty of heat protection and spray in conditioner to keep my hair in tip top shape.

I've been doing some research into better hair care routines but if you have any tips and tricks then please leave them down below as it would be great help!

Until next time!

LUSH Bubble Bar: Candy Mountain

So I have recently got round into using one of my LUSH Christmas presents and I was super excited about this one as it was a limited edition one! Scent wise this bubble bar is very similar to LUSH's Snow Fairy scent and I am completely obsessed with it. This bubble bar created plenty of bubbles, slightly tinted the water pink and as predicted, filled the bathroom with its wonderful sweet scent. Although it wasn't picked up in the photos it also made the water very shimmery which I thought looked so pretty!

One of the great things about this bubble bar is that you can either use the whole lot in one go to create a lot of bubbles, or you can even just break a section off and use that and still get plenty of bubbles but you get more use out of the bar as a whole. I also found that after having a bath with this bubble bar my skin was left silky soft and smelling amazing.

Over all I do really really like this bubble bar and I am gutted its limited edition and no longer available so here's to hoping its return for Christmas 2015 ah!

Bottom Line: Yes I would recommend this to a friend.

What is your favourite LUSH product?

January Inspiration

I was recently having a real lack of inspiration, not just for my blog or channel but even simple things in my day to day life. So in the New Year blues I decided to pick myself up and make some changes: I tidied my room and re-organised my desk, changed my bright red Christmas duvet set for a white floral duvet set, lit some candles and of course went on Pinterest. The wonderful thing with Pinterest is they have lots of inspiration photos, which has led me to the idea of posting regular inspiration posts for my blog, and for this post I have picked out some of my favourite quote pictures!

So if you're struggling for inspiration, here's a little spark from me to you!

I hope you're having a wonderful January!

Gold Statement Necklaces

Gold jewellery has never been favourite of mine really, I was all about the silver! However over the last few months I've bought my self a lot of statement necklaces and I've recently come to love the odd gold one. Both of the gold necklaces I own are inexpensive ones I just happened to pick up while shopping, however I have recently fallen in love in pairing a big statement necklace with a plain jumper to add a small feature to an outfit.

The triangle necklace you may have seen before as it was featured in my Winter Primark haul video a few months ago. I personally really like triangle statement necklaces, I currently own two; a plain silvery one and the one pictured above. I much prefer the gold Primark necklace compared to my other triangle necklace due to the detail and layers this necklace has, one of my favourite features of this necklace has to be the inner black shimmery triangles. This little beauty only cost me £3! In terms of quality I love this necklace although you do have to be careful as the triangle can easily tangle due to the way they are connected.

This necklace is a lot more 'bulkier' compared to the thinner triangle one. This definitely isn't the sort of necklace I would usually buy, however at the time I kinda fell in love with it, so naturally I purchased it. I find that this necklace goes really well with my light colours such as my cream knit jumper which I actually wore in a FOTD blog post, however over the festive period I found it went even better with my darker knitted jumpers like my burgundy or bottle green jumper. As for the actual shape of this necklace I have absolutely no idea what you would call this or how to describe it! Although it does 'kinda' remind me of cat hmm? I actually found this necklace in the jewellery section of George at Asda, I wasn't even looking for any jewellery at the time it just happened to be on sale when I walked past and it was down to £1.50 from £5! However this was back in June so the likely hood of this still be around is very unlikely.

Until next time have a wonderful day!

Formal Valentines Day Outfit Idea #1

Valentines by kirabassett featuring iphone cases

Despite being a very casual girl I can't help but find the idea of going on a really formal date and getting to dress very fancy really excites me. Although don't be mistaken I still (and probably always will) love my Domino's pizza and Netflix nights at home, which is still wonderful as you still get to spend the night with your loved one, eat amazing food just without having to make a huge effort on your make-up or clothes. Besides my year 11 Prom which would of been 2 years ago this summer wow, I've never been to really formal evening where you'd get to dress this fancy, but at least I can dream by creating outfit inspiration posts on Polyvore! Although I don't think I'd be able to style my now shorter hair in that pretty heart half up do even if I tried! *sigh*

My boyfriend and I haven't actually discussed our Valentines plan but if there's pizza I'd be more than happy! And yes I know it's way to early to be even thinking about Valentines day but hey it is in six weeks and I like to be plan ahead, even if its just wishful thinking!

If you liked anything in this outfit collage then everything will be linked below for you, how handy! Plus how cute are the phone cases?! I do have a soft spot for Disney.

Until next time, have a wonderful day!

Getting Organised

Hello everyone, I hope 2015 is treating you well!

In my previous blog post I spoke about how I wanted to be more organised in 2015. So to kick start it  off I decided to treat my self to new note pad and organiser. I find having a new pretty pad to write in makes more inspired to use it, and since the next season is spring they did look rather appropriate. Just in case you was wondering the note pad is by Go Stationary and the planner is more obviously by Emma Bridgewater! I am pretty sure you can still buy these directly from their websites, however I picked these up in TK MAXX! (Shocker I know.) The note pad will be used purely for blog post and YouTube video planning, while the day to day organiser will be used for everything from blogging to college work.

Back on to my previous blog post I spoke about wanting to set a schedule, however after much consideration and trying to work it out I found it pretty impossible to set specific upload days for my blog. So for my blog instead of having upload days I'm going to have a quota of uploading AT LEAST twice a week, not including YouTube video promotion. So two actual full blog posts a week as a minimum! I feel I can work to this around college and YouTube quite comfortably, plus if I have more spare time in a week like in half terms, then I can post more than twice in a week.

So there is one of my resolutions going off to a good start whilst helping another resolution I have.
But until next time have a wonderful day!
